The Hanshin-Beppu route, which sails through the Seto Inland Sea, one of Japan's most scenic areas, was established in 1912 and has been connecting people and cities for over 100 years.
Since 1975, operations were limited to nighttime only, but in October 2011, to mark the 100th anniversary of the route's opening, special daytime cruises allowing passengers to enjoy the Seto Inland Sea were reinstated.
Fully enjoy the scenic beauty of the Seto Inland Sea, known as the Jewel of the World, boasting picturesque views of its many islands.
Note: The ships listed in the schedule (Sunflower Kurenai and Sunflower Murasaki) may be swapped due to natural occurrences, such as typhoons, natural disasters, or other circumstances.
Note: Box lunches (bentos), including tea, are included in the boarding fee.
