Left)Natsumi Shibata (violin)
Started playing the violin at the age of 3. Graduated from Osaka Kyoiku University‘s Department of Liberal Arts where she attended a Music Course.
Completed graduate studies in music at Kyoto City University of Arts. Performed at her graduation concert.
Won First Prize at the Kumagusu no Sato Music Competition, Encouragement Prize at the Wakayama Competition, Third Prize in the Ensemble Division of the 18th Nagae Cup International Music Competition (no first prize awarded), Third Prize in the Ensemble Division of the 16th Osaka International Music Competition (no second prize awarded, highest prize awarded to a Japanese), Selected in the Ensemble Division of the 10th Yokohama International Competition, First Prize in the 3rd Soji Hall String Quartet Competition, and the Haydn Prize. In 2012, she passed an audition with her trio and performed at "Ensemble Evening."
In 2013, she took a public lesson with Berlin Philharmonic clarinetist Wenzel Fuchs in a clarinet quintet. In June 2015, she took a public lesson with the Leipzig Quartet, sponsored by the TAMA Music Forum, and in October of the same year she took a public lesson with Luz Leskowitz in a string quartet.
Currently performs in a variety of roles, including as support act, solo and in ensembles.

Center)Yoshiko Ikemura (cello)
After graduating from the Music Department of Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School, she graduated from the Faculty of Music and the Graduate School of Kyoto City University of Arts (at the top of her class in both institutes). She has won numerous awards, including the Excellence Award at the 5th Sapporo Junior Cello Competition, Third Prize at the 4th Viva Hall Cello Competition and the 2001 Baroque Saal Award.
Until 2009 she was a part-time instructor at the Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School's music department, where she taught the next generations of musicians.
She has lived in Malaysia for four years since 2014 and has been actively performing in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and other places, including performing at the 60th anniversary concert of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Malaysia in 2017.
In 2018 she released a CD, "The Glamorous Duo," with pianist Tomonari Tsuchiya. She is currently a member of "After hours session" and "Ensemble Kobe," and is a part-time instructor at Osaka College of Music.

Right)Yasuko Ukon (piano)
Graduated with honors from Kyoto City University of Arts. Won the Faculty of Music Award. Won the Edwin Fischer Prize at the Lucerne International Music Festival, the Kobe Nada Lions Club Award, the Encouragement Award at the Osaka Culture Festival, the Main Award at the Osaka Culture Festival and the Music Critics Club Encouragement Award. She was a semi-finalist at the 19th William Kapell International Piano Competition.
Won the Music Critic Club Award as a member of "After Hours Session."
She has performed concertos with orchestras in Japan and abroad. She has also appeared on NHK-FM and BS as a soloist and in ensembles. She has been invited to music festivals and performed in various parts of Europe, including Switzerland and Austria.
She is currently a member of "After Hours Session." She is a lecturer at Mukogawa Women's University, Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts and Kobe College.

Representative of Office Hiruneko Co., Ltd. Joined CyberAgent in 2005. After being transferred to a subsidiary publishing company and editing several books, she left the company at the end of 2011. That same night she set off on a journey around the world with her single-lens reflex camera as her companion. She returned to Japan a year later and made her debut as an author with her book, "A Woman in Love Travels the World – At 29 I Quit My Job and Started Traveling" (Gentosha), which describes her journey.
In 2014, she launched a volunteer project to renovate old houses into lodgings in Sanuki Hiroshima, one of the Shiwaku Islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Since then, she has been traveling to islands at least twice a month and has visited more than 150. She currently works as an advisor for remote islands.
In 2019, she was appointed Cruise Ambassador for the Japan Passenger Ship Association (Inc.) and has been working to revitalize the shipping industry. She designed the ship's red seal, "Gosenin," and runs the Gosenin Tour Project Secretariat.
In 2022 she was appointed Setouchi Ambassador for the Honshu-Shikoku Bridge Expressway and Island Travel Ambassador for the Island Treasure Tourism Federation.

After graduating from the vocal music department of Kyoto Horikawa Music High School in Kyoto City, she went on to graduate from the vocal course of the music department of Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts, majoring in musical performance. While at university, she regularly performed as a choral soloist at concerts.
After graduating from university, she studied abroad in Germany, where she focused on vocal expression, musical expression and singing techniques.
She appeared in the Kyoto and Tokyo performances of Shiki Theatre Company's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame."
She took part as a chorus member at Joe Hisaishi’s New Year's Eve Concert, Hatsune Miku Symphony Osaka concert and Sword Art Online Film Orchestra concert held at Kyoto ROHM Theatre.
She also appeared in many children's operas such as "Hansel and Gretel," "The Three Little Pigs," "The Magic Flute " and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," and is active as a singing lady all over Japan.
Her wide range of activities include appearing in many concerts and live performances.

Center)Hiromi Kiyota (flute)
Born in Kyoto City. After graduating from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School, went on to graduate from Tokyo College of Music, where she completed her graduate studies as a non-degree student. While in university, she studied abroad at the Rueil-Malmaison Regional Conservatory in France on a short-term scholarship.
Won Third Prize (highest ranking) in the wind instruments category at the 15th Yangtze Cup International Music Competition and was selected for the 66th and 67th All Japan Student Music Competition in Osaka.
Performed in a select concert for students at the 23rd Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy.
Won the Excellence Award at the 45th and 47th Flute Association Newcomer Concerts.
She is currently a part-time lecturer at Kyoto Horikawa Music High School.

Right)Ikumi Fujiwara (horn)
Born in Kyoto City. After graduating from Kyoto Horikawa Music High School, she went on to graduate from the Department of Music in the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Doshisha Women's College of Liberal Arts.
At her graduation, she performed in the Newcomer Concert hosted by the Kyoto Musicians Club.
Won the Fourth Prize in the university student division of the 32nd All Japan Junior Classical Music Competition.
Attended a master class by Jens Plücker at the 24th Hamamatsu International Wind Instrument Academy.
Performed at the debut concert of the music division of the 33rd Kyoto Art Festival. Belonged to the Kyoto City Fire Department Band from 2019 to 2022. She currently performs mainly in the Kansai region where she also teaches young students.
Member of the Omuron Brass brass quintet and the La Porté Quintette woodwind quintet .

THE BEA★STARS
Beatles Street, the largest free-attendance Beatles live festival in Japan, has been held twice a year in spring and autumn since 2013 at Osaka Nanko ATC, base of the Sunflower cruise ship, in the spirit of "Bringing the Beatles’ wonderful music to everyone."
The concept has gained traction nationwide and the festival was held in Hiroshima from 2020, in Wakayama in autumn 2024 and will be held in Kurashiki in 2025. It will also be held as a charity event to support earthquake recovery efforts in Noto peninsula in the fall of 2025.
THE BEA★STARS is a Beatles tribute band whose lineup of up to 20 members changes periodically.

Center)Nao Ban (flute)
Born in Osaka Prefecture. Graduated from Soai University with a Bachelor of Music degree. The following year she completed a non-degree graduate program in music at the same university.
She has won numerous awards, including the Encouragement Award at the 51st Sakai City Newcomer Concert where she performed and the highest award in the Ensemble Division of the 24th Japan Performers Competition.
In 2023 she performed a concerto with the Osaka Symphony Orchestra.
She is a registered artist with the Sakai City New Artist Bank. She is a wind and percussion instructor at Yamaha Music Japan. In addition to her performance activities, she also actively teaches flute to younger students.

Right)Momoka Taniguchi (piano)
Started playing the piano at the age of two. After graduating from the Music Department of Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School and the Music Course of the Arts Department of Osaka Kyoiku University, she completed her graduate studies at the Graduate School of Music at Soai University.
While still a student, she completed a course at the Forum Musikae, an international music academy in Madrid, Spain. She was the soloist for Mozart's Piano Concerto at the 4th regular concert of the Soai Philharmonic Orchestra.
She currently performs solo and in ensembles and is also a part-time lecturer at Osaka Kyoiku Welfare College and a teacher at the Cent Fleur piano school, where she also teaches the next generation of piano players.
She is the exclusive ballet pianist for Studio Bontemps.

Born in Kitakyushu. Former member of the Hibiki Hall Chamber Orchestra .Currently based in Kitakyushu, she is active not only in classical music but also in various other genres, performing solo, chamber music, orchestral music, and teaching young musicians.
She is a member of Aqua Trio, concertmaster of the Beethoven Sinfonietta and guest concertmaster of Izumo Philharmonic Orchestra. She is also affiliated with Orchestra Presenter Tokyo and Layworld.

Right) Hideki Goto
Pianist. Conductor.
After graduating from Midorigaoka High School, attached to Oita Prefectural College of Arts and Culture, he graduated from Oita Prefectural College of Arts and Culture, majoring in instrumental music and completed an advanced course at the same university. He won the Mozart Prize at the Summer Mozart Week 2003 and the Accompaniment Prize at the 43rd Kitakyushu Art Festival. He was awarded the top prize in the pianist category audition for the MARO Project 2008, where he performed with members of the NHK Symphony Orchestra including Artistic Director Fuminori Shinozaki. He has performed as a soloist with various orchestras, including the Seele Symphony Orchestra, Beppu Symphony Orchestra and Oita Symphony Orchestra. He has studied piano under Ritsuko Ito and Seiji Tanaka, and chamber music under Kimie Yoshinaga.
He is currently a part-time lecturer at Oita Prefectural Midorigaoka High School of the Arts, conductor of the Music Club of Oita Uenooka High School, conductor of the brass band of Oita Toyofu Junior High School, conductor and pianist of CollnaVoce and pianist of RENTARO Chamber Orchestra.
He also works as a trainer for the Beppu Civic Philharmonia Orchestra.

Graduated top of her class from Doshisha Women's University’s Department of Music, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, .
Moved to Vienna where she graduated top of her class from the Vocal Music Department of the Vienna Pleiner Conservatory and where she has also performed in various concerts .
She has performed in major opera roles including as Mimi in "La Bohème," Madame Butterfly in Madama Butterfly,” the Countess in "The Marriage of Figaro," and Margarete in "Faust." After returning to Japan, she has held solo recitals in Kyoto and Kumamoto, and has expanded her range of activities by performing as a soloist in Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9."

Center) Yoko Kawase (violin)
After graduating from the Department of Music at Kyoto Municipal Horikawa High School, she graduated from the Department of Orchestral Music at Kyoto City University of Arts.
She completed her studies at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia. She has received the Special Prize for Piano and Violin Duo at the 8th Music and Earth International Competition in Bulgaria.
She has performed in many concerts and music events, including the Rinku Gallery Concert, concerts at Koji Temple in Kyoto and Manpukuji Temple in Uji, and a ballet gala concert at the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Osaka.

Right) Sanae Onishi (piano)
After graduating from Nara Prefectural Koen High School of Music, she graduated from Souai University, Department of Instrumental Music, majoring in piano. She has performed at the Saranoki-Kai Newcomer Concert, Akishino Music Festival, Naramachi Concert, the ballet performance "World Dream" among others.
She has expanded her repertoire to include not only classical music but also jazz, pop and other genres, and has performed at hotel lounges, bridal events and other venues in the Kansai region.
In addition to solo performances, she is active as a chamber musician, instrumental accompanist and ballet pianist.
In 2018, she released her first ballet lesson CD, "My Favorite Vol. 1."
While working as a pianist, she also devotes herself to training ballet pianists. She is a member of the Nara City Music Association.

She made her stage debut in "Festa Festa" and "Love Adventurers."
She has appeared in numerous other productions, including "A Little Flower Bloomed," "Lombardy at Dawn," "La Vie en Rose" and "Enchanted." While still with the troupe, she was a regular on the NHK morning drama series "Niji Wo Oru."

● She has performed in, as well as choreographed, numerous performances, live shows and dinner shows, including the "Imperial Hotel Osaka Takarazuka Alumni Dinner Show," the "Takarazuka Alumni & OSK Collaboration Live," and the "Takarazuka Grand Ball."
● She presides over a "Visual Production" course and holds workshops and seminars nationwide.

THE BEA★STARS
Beatles Street, the largest free-attendance Beatles live festival in Japan, has been held twice a year in spring and autumn since 2013 at Osaka Nanko ATC, base of the Sunflower cruise ship, in the spirit of "Bringing the Beatles’ wonderful music to everyone."
The concept has gained traction nationwide and the festival was held in Hiroshima from 2020, in Wakayama in autumn 2024 and will be held in Kurashiki in 2025. It will also be held as a charity event to support earthquake recovery efforts in Noto peninsula in the fall of 2025.
THE BEA★STARS is a Beatles tribute band whose lineup of up to 20 members changes periodically.

That same night she set off on a journey around the world with her single-lens reflex camera as her companion. She returned to Japan a year later and made her debut as an author with her book, "A Woman in Love Travels the World – At 29 I Quit My Job and Started Traveling" (Gentosha), which describes her journey.
In 2014, she launched a volunteer project to renovate old houses into lodgings in Sanuki Hiroshima, one of the Shiwaku Islands in the Seto Inland Sea. Since then, she has been traveling to islands at least twice a month and has visited more than 150. She currently works as an advisor for remote islands.

After graduating from Doshisha Women's University’s Department of Music, she graduated from the Ecole Normale Superieure de Musique de Paris with a unanimous Higher Performance Diploma. She also graduated from the Conservatoire National de Bourg-la-Reine in France.
She has won awards in competitions both in Japan and abroad, including the Gold Prize in the Ensemble Division at the Japan Flute Convention Competition and 1st and 2nd Place at the Paris UFAM International Competition.
She received the Osaka Cultural Festival Encouragement Award for her recital in 2002. As a member of After Hours Session, she also received the Music Critic Club Encouragement Award in 2017.
As a concerto soloist, she has performed with the Czech Soloists di Praga, the Karlovy Vary Orchestra, and the Osaka Symphony Orchestra, among others. In recent years, she has also performed overseas in Paris, Geneva, Tbilisi and other cities. She is a delegate of the Japan Flute Association.
She is a member of the indoor and outdoor chamber group After Hours Session and concertmaster of the Universal Flute Orchestra Japan.

Center) Yoshiko Ikemura (cello)
After graduating from the Music Department of Nishinomiya High School in Hyogo Prefecture, she graduated from the Faculty of Music at Kyoto City University of Arts and the Graduate School of the same university with top honors.
She has won numerous awards, including the Excellence Award at the 5th Sapporo Junior Cello Competition, the 3rd prize at the 4th Viva Hall Cello Competition, and the Baroque Saal Award in 2001. Until 2009, she was a part-time lecturer at the Music Department of Hyogo Prefectural Nishinomiya High School, where she taught young musicians. She lived in Malaysia for four years from 2014, and has performed in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and other cities, including at a concert to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Malaysia friendship in 2017. In 2018, she released the CD "The Glamorous Duo" with pianist Tomonari Tsuchiya. She is currently a member of After Hours Session and Ensemble Kobe, and a part-time lecturer at Osaka College of Music.

Right) Atsushi Mihara (piano)
Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Faculty of Music, majoring in composition. Graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts, Faculty of Music, majoring in composition, and completed the graduate school of the same university, majoring in conducting.
Upon graduation he received the Kyoto Mayor's Award, the Kyoto Music Association Award and the Graduate School Mayor's Award.
While in graduate school, he studied conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts of Vienna on a scholarship from the University.
He has taught composition at Kyoto Children's Music School and solfege at Kyoto City University of Arts.
As a piano player, he has appeared in numerous concerts and competition auditions in the fields of chamber music, vocal music, and choral accompaniment. He has been involved with Sakai City Opera, Kansai Opera Company, Opera Tokushima and others as music staff.
He is associate conductor of the Yamaha Symphonic Band and is currently based in Osaka.
